Repairs to the A21 Medway Viaduct and Manor Farm Subway

We are carrying out urgent safety maintenance work on a section of the A21 near Tonbridge in Kent. The existing subway at Manor Farm will be completely rebuilt and part of the Medway Viaduct will be repaired. As a result the A21 between Morley’s Roundabout and Tonbridge will be closed for 10 full days. This closure is scheduled from 8pm on Friday 14 February to 6am on Monday 24 February.

Diversions

A21 diversion routes

Southbound

If you are travelling southbound on the A21, you will be diverted at the Sevenoaks Weal Interchange.

Take the second exit to follow the B245 (Hildenborough) to the A227 southbound.

Then take the second left along Bordyke Road/Hadlow Road.

From there, follow Cannon Lane/A26 and re-join the A21 southbound at the Vauxhall Lane Interchange.

Northbound

If you are travelling northbound on the A21, you will be diverted at the Vauxhall Lane Interchange.

At the following roundabout, take the third exit onto the A26.

Turn left to join Hadlow Road/Bordyke Road, then turn right to join the A227/B245

Follow the B245 until Sevenoaks Weald and merge onto the A21 northbound via the third exit.
