Work to improve the bridge that passes over the M6. This work will include replacement of the existing safety barriers, re-waterproofing, concrete repairs and re-surfacing across the bridge.
After the completion of this work we shouldn’t need to carry out any further maintenance work on the bridge for a number of years, unless emergency works are required. The first couple of stages of work, will be done during the day using temporary traffic signals. The bridge will need to be fully closed for the last three weeks of the work.
Additional closures will also be required to change the traffic management set up at the start of each phase.
Advance warning signs will be in place to advertise these full closures. Limbrick Road will need to be closed for the duration of the work.
For information on road closures, check the roadworks finder.
