A45 Barnes Wilby Overburden and A45 Wilby Way to Earls Barton Resurfacing

Scott Gaskin

We are resurfacing the carriageway in both directions between Earls Barton and Wilby Way. We are also maintaining the drainage and roadside vegetation.

To reduce longer term disruption to the travelling public and to make best use of the closures needed, we have combined three separate maintenance schemes. This will ensure value for money and allow us to carry out the work more quickly.

Diversion routes

All traffic heading westbound on the A45 is to be directed to travel southbound on the A508 from junction 14 (Wellingborough) and travel past Wollaston to Warrington Toll Bar Roundabout. Here, they will be directed to join the A428 and travel westbound past Yardley Hastings and Houghton to Barnes Meadow Interchange where it may rejoin the A45. End of diversion.
