M25 junction 13 improvements
Improving junction 13 of the M25 to ease congestion and manage the increasing volume of traffic on the M25.
Project information
Improvements include changes to traffic signal control to improve traffic flow through the junction, an additional lane on the roundabout to increase capacity and an additional lane on the M25 northbound exit slip to increase capacity. This work will lead to a more free-flowing network, with reduced congestion and more reliable journey times.
The M25 junction 13 is controlled by traffic signals, and is where the M25, A30 Staines Bypass and B376 meet. Junction 13 is operating over its design capacity, which leads to congestion, queuing traffic and journey delays during peak hours.
These improvements will deliver safer and more reliable journeys for our customers, and manage the ever-increasing volume of traffic using the M25.
