We are trialling a new telephone consultation service that will people who had planned to attend one of our cancelled consultation events the opportunity to speak to a member of the project team.

Call 020 3787 4300

  • Monday 23 March 2020, between 2pm and 8pm
  • Wednesday 25 March 2020, between 2pm and 8pm

Following government guidance on manging the COVID-19 pandemic, our final four consultation events have been cancelled.

We’re holding a telephone consultation service to give the public who had planned to attend the cancelled events in Grays, Shorne, Ockendon and Upminster a chance to speak to a member of our team.

In addition to holding a telephone consultation, we have also extended the supplementary consultation period to end at 23:59 on 2 April to give people additional time to complete their consultation response and give us feedback, either online or by returning a paper response form.

How the service will work

When you ring us, we’ll have project staff available to answer your questions regarding changes made to the design of the Lower Thames Crossing since our 2018 statutory consultation. Should your question require a technical expert, we will offer you a phone appointment slot for a later time in the day that works for you.

This supplementary consultation is being held to give you the chance to view and comment on changes made to the design of the Lower Thames Crossing since our statutory consultation in 2018.

If your enquiry is related to anything else, please call the Highways England customer contact centre at 0300 123 5000, or email info@highwaysengland.co.uk.
